Sophie Louise Ecclestone was born on May 6, 1999, in Chester, England. She developed her love for cricket at a young age and quickly displayed an aptitude for slow left-arm orthodox spin bowling. Ecclestone progressed through the England age-group system with remarkable speed, and her talent was recognized early by national selectors.
